How long will my AI movie be?

For: all plans

When you make a movie with AI, pick a Length: about 30, 45, 60 or 90 seconds, or 2, 3 or 5 minutes.

You see the lengths your plan includes:

  • Explaindio 5 AI: up to 90 seconds
  • Explaindio 5 Pro Lite: up to 2 minutes
  • Explaindio 5 Pro: up to 5 minutes

Why it's "about": each narrated scene lasts as long as its voice-over. So the finished movie usually comes out close to the length you picked, sometimes a little shorter or a little longer.

With a Video Blueprint: the blueprint sets the order of the scenes, and your Length still sets how long the movie is. A longer movie gets more scenes, in the same order.

Pasting your own script? Then your script sets the length. The counter shows about how long it will run, at around 150 words a minute. The voice-over reads every word you paste. The text on screen is short headlines based on your script. If your script can't fit the Video Blueprint you picked, the movie uses a simpler layout, and the movie page tells you so.

Change one scene's length. Open the scene, and in the bar at the top set its Length, in seconds, up to 30. It can't be shorter than the time everything in the scene needs to appear and its voice needs to finish. The number next to it shows how long the voice is. Your movie uses the new length the next time you render it.
