What does "Listed on nhs.uk" mean?

For: all plans

On Find Businesses, some businesses say Listed on nhs.uk, or Listed on facebook.com, yelp.com, a booking site like fresha.com or treatwell.co.uk, and so on, instead of showing a website.

It means the business doesn't have a website of its own on the map. Its map listing points to a page on another site instead, like its NHS page, its Facebook page, a Yelp listing, or its page on a booking site.

Why Explaindio doesn't check that page: the page belongs to the other site, not the business. Reading it would tell us about NHS, Facebook or Yelp, not about the business. So Explaindio doesn't check it for a video, and it can't make a one-click sample from it. (A one-click sample is made from the business's own website.)

What you can do:

  • Click Listed on nhs.uk ↗ on the business's page to see its listing.
  • They have no website of their own, so they can still be good ones to contact.
  • You can make a video for one yourself in the Studio.

Before, some of these businesses were missing from your results (several NHS practices could show as one). They now each show up on their own.
