For: all plans
When Explaindio makes an AI movie for you with Illustrate my scenes turned on, it now looks for a free stock photo for each picture first. (Sample videos for businesses don't add pictures, so they're not affected.)
On Explaindio 5 Agency, and in your clients' accounts: the stock photos are still free, but the AI that checks which photo fits uses 1 credit for each photo it checks. It checks up to 4 photos for each search, with up to 3 searches for one picture, so one picture uses at most 12 credits for checking. If the account doesn't have enough credits for that, Explaindio skips the stock photos for that picture and makes it with AI.
So your pictures look real, the whole movie uses a photo look, and the AI pictures in it match.
Cut-outs: when a photo sits on top of a colored background, Explaindio may cut the subject out of its background, so it sits cleanly on the scene. It never cuts out a full-screen photo or a before-and-after picture. If a cut-out doesn't come out cleanly, it keeps the photo as it is. Cut-outs don't use any credits.
Want a different picture? Open the scene, click the picture, and click Stock photos & videos to pick another, or upload your own. See Add free stock photos and videos.
The same rules apply as for any stock photo you add yourself, including using them in videos you sell to clients.
When you make a movie with AI, Add stock video clips is on, so Explaindio also adds a few short, free video clips that fit the business: 2 in a movie up to a minute long, 3 in a longer one. Sample videos for businesses get them too.
When no clips are added. Explaindio picks clips that match the kind of business, and it knows about 40 kinds, from accountants and bakeries to plumbers, florists and vets. If no clip is added, the movie page tells you why, and every scene stays animated:
Don't want them? Turn off Add stock video clips before you make the movie. To change one later, open its scene, click the clip, and pick another in Stock photos & videos. To drop a clip, remove its whole scene from the movie.
